‘Time and Space’ – is a short poem that deciphers from my thoughts and feelings about people I love or am drawn to

I have never found a permanent place,

In the worlds of time and space.

For your blindingly alluring face,

Emanating radiance and sublime grace.

My eyes cannot see what you see,

Etched in my vision your beauty.

I just see an absolute cutey,

A treasure I glimpsed, I was fluky.

I hope you understand,

That I really didn’t have a chance.

You became my song and dance,

My reason for romance.

You know my game was over,

As soon as you showed up.

The world rearranges when you’re there,

Before it started, my soul laid bare.

The colours that you bring to life,

Make me feel courageous, like I could fly.

Like when I lift my hand to touch,

A petal from your aura, the world starts to hush.

I look around just to see,

If I should convince myself that it could be.

Real before I lose myself,

Or if I just confuse mental health.

With something I just found,

But, it still feels missing somehow.

I look up to see you smiling at me,

That picture perfect observation seems.

To teleport me beyond this world,

Faster than light I’m running towards a Goddess girl.

But, she’s been learning when to let things be,

With her there is no wasted energy.

She holds me down and lets me breathe,

She whispers ‘there’s plenty of time for you and me in infinity’.

A kiss goodbye knocks me into next week,

An ocean of thoughts left for the minds-eye to see.

Feelings furthermore come to steep,

Memories return and come to be.
